Member of Russell Bedford International achieves SAS 70 Type II Audit

Outsource Partners International, Inc., a member of Russell Bedford International, announced its successful completion of a SAS 70 Type II audit. The audit stands as a third-party independent opinion on the effectiveness of internal controls for outsourced functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, project accounting and financial reporting.

SAS 70, an internationally recognised standard developed and managed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), validates the adequacy of a service organisation's processes and control activities around the hosting and processing of data. Successful SAS 70 Type II audits assure service providers are operating in stable and secure environments, and they ensure that controls are being effectively implemented by testing processes and controls for a period of at least six months.
