First m-Payments system fully operating in Mexico

Payment By Cell, Inc., a sister company of Global Technologies Investment, Inc., has partnered with Fin Común, a bank that offers financial services with social vocation; and based on the m-Payments and m-Transactions proprietary platforms, have finished the setup to attend the under-served market in Mexico.

“In the month of August 2007, Global Technologies Investment, Inc. announced the creation of Payment By Cell, Inc. as the Business Development arm of the company, now; just two months later, we are proud to announce that the setup and integration with Fin Común Bank in Mexico has been finished and testing period has been completed successfully”, said Enrique Pallares, Board Member of both companies.

“Mexico Laws and Regulations are very strict as far as security and encryption of information, and our platform exceeds all expectations becoming the very first m-Payments operation in the country. We are clearly focused on the mid-low income population and expect to offer the target market with the highest quality of service”, continued Pallares.

The company has been working very hard in developing new business relationships throughout Latin-America, and has completed negotiations and agreements with several banks in the region. “We will announce our new operations as they go from testing stage to live” said Enrique Pallares.
