AntiBreach to Sell Its Landmark Invention in PKI at the Ocean Tomo Live IP Auction on Oct 25, 2007

CHICAGO -- AntiBreach today announced the sale of Lot 32, comprised of U.S. Patent 7,088,821 relating to a ground-breaking public key encryption methodology. The Lot will be offered at The Ocean Tomo Fall 2007 Live IP Auction on October 25th at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago.

The invention, titled “Absolute Public Key Cryptography (APKC) Surviving Private Key Compromise”, is a landmark in cryptography and information security. APKC protects customer information and corporate secrets not only from outsiders but also from insiders, saving billions of dollars lost by business enterprises to hackers every year.

The encryption provides breach-proof security to online businesses in protecting their online buyers’ confidential information such as credit card details, authentication credentials, etc., from intercepting hackers and eavesdroppers at intermediary IP routers on the Internet. Today, the existing cryptosystems in the market do protect confidential information from preying eyes on the Internet, but only as long as the private key is kept strictly confidential by insiders. APKC defeats such trust breaching attacks from dishonest insiders by making the information leaked to outsiders useless through its blinding and double-routing techniques.

Another threat to online businesses is insider theft of confidential customer information crucial to business. Recent reports of the leading research institutes on information security incidents reveal that around 85% of them originate from within the company resulting from insiders stealing customer data such as account details, credit card numbers, passwords, etc. APKC defeats such internal attacks also by blind-encrypting the data into two ciphers and storing them in two different databases that are administered by two DBAs.

The patented IP has tremendous market potential and is of great value to the following IT segments:

Web and Database Security Software Developers
Internet and Email Service providers
Credit Card Companies and Payment Processors
Online Retailers and Financial Institutions
Telecommunications Companies
Business Process Outsourcing Companies
Minimum expected value for Lot 32 is set to as low as $300,000.
