How many spyware is spying on you? How to get rid of spyware?

How to get rid of spyware with SpyCop?

Step 1: After you first time launch the SpyCop, you will see the welcome screen above, simply select the option applies to your current situation. The welcome box will then change to display the appropriate option. The option to test for the system compatibility will give you the free trial to determine if the product will operate properly on your system. The trial is intended as a system compatibility test and will not complete scan.

Step 2: After ordering the product, select the option"I have already paid for this software". You can enter your name and the serial number.DO NOT SHARE YOUR CODE WITH ANYONE or you risk your license being disable.

Step 3: To start the SpyCop, use a desktop icon, or navigate to where you installed the program. Vista users will prompted with a security dialog saying that "Vista launcher" needs permission to continue, you should approve to run the product.

Step 4: When you click the File menu you can access (1) Query the Signature Database, (2) Update Signature Database, (3) configuration & Scan Wizard, (4) Prepare AutoScan Screensaver, (5) Save Results of Search as, (6) Print Results of Search. Do what they say and allow you to keep a copy of the results for future, each of these are described in more details later.

Step 5: This is the (1) Query the Signature Database option under file menu, this enable you to determine whether a spyware program you heard about can be detected, and if not, you can easily report your new discovery to us. When querying the signature database, be careful to spell the name of the spyware accurately and the same as the manufacturer does. For example, enter just "spy program" instead of "company' spy program v1.0".

Step 6: The scan menu including various scan mode: (1) Start Complete System Scan, does the same thing as click the button "scan now". (2) Scan a Single File, allows you to scan a single file that you are suspicious. (3) Scan a single Folder, allows you to scan a entire program folder on your system. (4) Activate Super Stealth Mode, will temporarily revert your system to the way it was before any program was installed. (5) About the Selected Spy Program. (6) Add suspect files to ZIP archive. (7) Remove files from user ignore list. (8) Access Renamed Spy Vault, will easily enable you to restore a file after a rename operation.

Step 7: When you choose (2) under the scan menu, you are presented with the standard Windows browser for file dialog, just navigate to the file and the click begin to scan. Select the type of file in the bottom combo box to show either EXEs, DLLs, VXDs, or SYS files.

Step 8: When you choose (3) under the scan menu, you are presented with the standard Windows browser for folder dialog, just navigate to the folder and the click begin to scan. You can also select a entire drive to scan for. Use the option if you see a suspicious folder on your drive and you want to be sure that it is not a spyware program.

Step 9: After scan completely, hopefully you will see nothing listed in the result section. If spy program is detected, the Scan Results section will show the name of the spyware, and the bottom one prints out the suspicious files. The list are linked, that's mean if multiple spies were found and you click a line in either list, the other one will move to the corresponding entry.

Step 10: After selecting a detected spy file in the list, the quarantined button becomes available. Click quarantine present with this dialog, here you will see when the spy was installed, and its size. Click the Rename button to rename the spy file by apprending a SPY extension to it and add it to the vault. This action will disable "most" of the spy program because they can not find a critical file to operating it. But, do remember, you should restart your system and scan it again to ensure the spy program is not active.
