ATLANTA, GA—August 7, 2007—In her new e-book, Tonza Borden educates and inspires other disabled Americans on how to find the easiest, least expensive, and direct-to-the-source alternative resources such as Social Security Plan for Achieving Self-Sufficiency (PASS), in conjunction with other strategies to obtain gainful employment and homeownership.
Disability Empowerment is a simple guide to find little known financial assistance, without having to be repaid, to achieve a work goal and buy an affordable home—as she did with disability. It includes detailed instructions and writing samples. This eBook is available to all low-income people, but it supports people with disabilities who have fear for their financial future.
Borden wrote Disability Empowerment to help others with disability that are dreaming of operating a successful and profitable business or get a college degree and work in a specific career field, to become a home owner.
“My goal was to become self-reliant again and get my life back. I did not have a clue about how I would get the money needed for a micro business startup but by faith in God, I was already preparing a business plan,” said Borden. When I discovered the PASS, I developed a stronger determination to achieve my occupational goal, which meant extensive research and due diligence to make my dream come true.”
