If you are really interested in learning this development business, a lot of your questions or issues are going to be answered on this page, so please spend a bit of time reading this page. It is an Information Page NOT a Sales Page; OK?
Residential and Commercial development follows the same process and procedures throughout the entire free enterprise world and that is why I have been able to teach people how to do developments by themselves in:
1. Every State of the USA.
2. Every Province of Canada.
3. Every State of Australia & New Zealand.
4. Every County of England, Ireland, some in Wales and Scotland.
5. Many parts of South Africa and the African Continent.
6. Many parts of Asia.
In fact, in a total of 104 countries that my web site tracks for me so I don't have to guess ... see, I'm a typical professional developer ... I like to track my market statistics.
The reason I am telling you this is to emphasize the fact that the development procedure is the same the world over.
So what is the difference then?
The only difference is your local Council or City Hall Planning & Building Department will have a different Town Plan and Building Regulations to the next city ... that's it!
To give you an quick example.
Ask yourself if it is reasonable to have a different building regulation for a building being constructed in the tropical climate of North Queensland, Australia to those in Bristol, UK or even the extreme cold of Canada?
Clearly the answer is yes.
However, the development process and procedures, of putting a building in place in each of those locations is the same. The building regulations in one location will be more concerned with keeping 'heat' inside in a cold climate and keeping it out in a tropical climate.
The same applies to Town Planning ... each city has its own unique Town Plan, which sets out its own development regulations. Yet how we as developers operate within the town plan is the same. So I hope that answers the question I am asked often ... but will your Course work where I live?
My E-book, Residential Development Made Easy was written in 2003 and takes you from A to Z in the entire development procedure ... it is this book that has been sold in 104 countries ... and is totally relevant today as it was when I wrote it.
Remember it is the local rules of city councils that change, not how we do the business.
I have interacted with my students through my weekly web conference (more later) and it became obvious to me that many of them needed a more detailed presentation of the development procedure ... more detailed than in my first publication.
So over the last year or so and I have rewritten and expanded a new e-book entitled:
* Residential Real Estate Development Made Easy Edition 2.
Just to answer the obvious question let me tell you that the new Residential Course contains a lot of detailed explanation of every aspect of the development business, when compared to the original 2003 e-book.
As I said above, the Commercial Course is totally new. In fact I have put off writing it because, I did not think there would be much interest in people learning commercial development.
Anyway, the sales that have occurred since the release on 1st June 2007 has proved me wrong and that's for sure.
For the Commercial Course only I have also made some physical CD's that cover the entire course. Please understand that you do not have to buy these, because everything is contained in the written e-book material.
So why make the CD's? For two reasons really. The first being that some people learn better by listening and the second is that I thought they would be a re-inforcing tool ... a way of comverting car travelling time to learning time. There are 14 of them in the series with about 16 hours of me teaching.
But I say again, the CD's are only an option for you ... you do not need to buy them. Also, they are made to order, so there is no return. You buy them - you keep them!
I want to be clear about a few things, so that we understand each other and some straight talking is my preferred style.
I have developed over $1.2 Billion worth of real estate developments and am retired in comfort enjoying the fruits of my past work.
I do not need to make money from the sales of a few e-book to live. I could develop a small project without leaving my sitting room and make more money than I would in selling this course over a 10 year period.
So what am I saying?
I'm saying that I want to show people how to develop residential and commercial development for their own personal profit and achieve a level of personal independence that lets you achieve many things that might otherwise not be possible.

I want people to invest in my Residential or Commercial Real Estate Development Course who really want to learn the development business. Can I tell you that you don't have to be an Einstein to learn this business, but you do have to apply yourself.
