Hager Cylindrical Locks Offer Greater Quality and Value for Commercial Door Hardware Applications [author:Carol Felzien Public time:Jul 6, 2007] |

Hager Companies’ cylindrical locks give architects, commercial builders and anyone who specifies commercial door hardware a combination of quality and value that is unprecedented in the industry — along with industry-exclusive lifetime warranties, plus standard features often costing extra on other brands.
Offered in both Grade 1 and Grade 2 models, Hager cylindrical locks are ANSI/BHMA certified. Grade 1 locks are typically used in heavy-duty commercial, industrial and institutional applications; Grade 2 locks in standard-duty commercial applications.
Designed to be non-handed, offering a seamless appearance with no exposed mounting screws, Hager’s Grade 1 Series 3400 and Grade 2 Series 3500 cylindrical locks are available in six standard architectural finishes. Hager cylindrical locks also offer Hager’s added security “clutch” feature at no additional charge — which allows the handle to rotate down without moving the latchbolt. Several optional latchbolts, drive-in latchbolts and latchbolt strikes are also available at no extra charge.
Optional accessories to Hager’s line of cylindrical locks include ten different stock keyway options, as well as four non-stock options. These cylindrical locks also fit both commercial door knobs and commercial door levers, depending upon construction specifications.
Founded in 1849, St. Louis-based Hager Companies continues its more than 150-year history of providing quality and innovation in the door hardware industry. For additional information, visit www.hagerco.com.
