Biometrics4ALL’s kiosk style booking station comes standard with latest scanner hardware, height adjustable capture surface, all-steel construction, ergonomic designs that accommodate full size keyboard and mouse, and sophisticated LiveScan booking software.
Biometrics4ALL shipped the ordered systems, installed, integrated, and trained the Sheriff staff in one week. Sgt. Bobrowski, Merced County Sheriff Dept., stated, “We were extremely impressed with Biometrics4ALL’s efficiency, quality of the LiveScans products delivered, ease of use, and knowledgeable staff. Biometrics4ALL implementation team came in, installed the systems, performed in field testing, trained our staff, then left, and the systems have worked well since. Our officers were able to quickly adapt to the new systems and we are now processing bookings faster than before, submitting error free and high quality data to the state, and providing vastly improved public protection and crime solving efforts with the addition of palmprint images capture to our standard booking process”.
It has been established that around 30% of the prints lifted from crime scenes are palm prints. Collecting the palmprints at the time of booking allows the Sheriff’s Dept. to solve more crimes by matching the latent palmprints with known criminals. Biometrics4ALL LiveScan solutions are designed to increase the throughput of the departments booking stations, while remaining flexible to changes required by state agencies. The officer using the system gets real-time fingerprint quality feedback in conformance to the latest Dept. of Homeland Security standards. Based on quality and sequence verification feedback, the officer is able to immediately take corrective actions to ultimately improve the quality of biometrics records and improve apprehension rate.
Since initial delivery, Biometrics4ALL has lived up to its innovative reputation by delivering several product improvements without charging the County any additional fees. “Biometrics4ALL delivered new features and product improvements a few months after initial implementation. These upgrades have provided substantial benefits to our day to day operation. The product is performing exceedingly well and we look forward to receiving other innovations by Biometrics4ALL.” Sgt. Bobrowski added.
Edward Chen, Biometrics4ALL Managing Director said: “We are privileged to have the opportunity to serve the County of Merced. Supplying the county with both criminal and applicant LiveScan solutions shows the versatility of our software solutions. The Sheriff’s Department has utilized our LiveScan solutions for the past nine months without any incidence clearly demonstrates our product quality and stability for both criminal booking and applicant processing. We are committed to continuous improvements; think outside of the box for new features that benefits our customers; and delivering them to our customers without the historic absorbent charges”
