Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 provides breakthrough in the development process

The .NET 3.0 is the latest version of the .NET Framework released by Microsoft. Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Workflow Foundation (WF), Windows CardSpace (WCS).

The two principal components of .NET are the Common Language Infrastructure (CLI) and the Common Language Runtime (CLR).

.NET Security mechanism has two basic features:

Code access security is evidence (the source of the assembly) oriented, which is linked with a particular assembly. . It is either directly installed on the native machine or can be downloaded from the internet.

Validation & Verification are the two tests performed by CLR when the assembly is loaded.

Some of the languages supported in .Net Framework are: C# 2.0, VB.NET 2005, J# 2.0, XAML, ASP.NET 2.0

Professionals also focused on the latest version, .NET 3.5 Orcas Beta 1 Framework. It features were summarized as:
1.5version includes a new compiler that supports Language Integrated Query (LINQ), as well as new language features in C# and VB.NET.

5.New classes in the base class library (BCL) for the .NET Framework 3.5 address the most common customer requests.
