Avangate B.V. selected Scan Alert Inc. to provide HACKER SAFEŽ and PCI compliance monitoring services for its proprietary eCommerce solution for Electronic Software Distribution - AvangateŽ and for the avangate.com website.
The agreement further enables software merchants using Avangate as their eCommerce platform to immediately and at no additional cost provide their customers with the safest PCI compliant purchasing environment.
The HACKER SAFEŽ logo displayed on the secure order pages certifies online shoppers in real time that their credit card information is protected, increasing customer trust.
With identity theft and credit card fraud continuing to plague online retailing, HACKER SAFE has become an international ecommerce security standard. HACKER SAFE technology enables merchants to easily manage potential website vulnerabilities and then patch them quickly and accurately.
Merchants that meet the HACKER SAFE standard every day can then merchandise their certified security by displaying the HACKER SAFE certification mark on their websites. HACKER SAFE certified retailers around the globe report that certification increases their site conversion an average of 14%.
