IT Governance 2006 is a three-day symposium that will address the complex legislative environment dictating new organizational business practices, offer practical strategies for meeting compliance challenges and demystify IT’s role in the process of good governance. Organizations will also be able to gain in-depth understanding of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and COBIT through several post-Symposium workshops being offered.
Highlighting the event is Sherron Watkins, the former Enron VP lauded for her courage during an unprecedented corporate collapse that eventually triggered the formation of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Ms. Watkins is currently lecturing on leadership and ethics across North America and is the co-author of Power Failure, recounting the Enron ordeal.
Rounding off the group of keynote speakers are UCLA Professor and creative problem solving guru Moshe Rubinstein; and Erik Guldentops, the “father” of Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) – a globally accepted framework to achieve IT governance.
