After using the software ,you'll know something ideal. It detect the internet activity in real-time, which can also record the open ports. And it has the normal firewall's function yet, Outpost Firewall Pro Plug-Ins,including Active Content, Ads, Anti-Spyware, Attachment Quarantine, Attack Detection, Content, DNS Cache. It's incredible that the log is so exhaustive. The "block" and "allow" is reasoned. In fact, the firewall is great as a whole!
But when you use it, you will find that it can bring you some problems. For example, every time a new software that installed not long want to connect the internet, the firewall will toss a warning, which informs you that weather you should allow or block it. If you are busy in doing something, you may select wrong, thus you can not connect the internet later, unless you config the setting again, But you will take several times to do it.

Athough the outpost firewall has a little problem to users, not to the computer, the firewall is still a great strong firewall in personal use. You can find that "Remote password stealer - Tracks and saves user keystrokes, which can be later sent to a third person." was detected, which may exciting and trouble you. Your information has not lost, including the password. Besides,outpost firewall take the resource unstable, little or more. But it will not infect the good sites.

In all, outpost firewall is great in protecting your computer from hackers and intruders, easy and efficient. You should test it yourself now.

Great firewall! Outpost Firewall is the most feature-packed Personal Firewall for Windows in the world. It gives peace of mind from any threats by Cookies, Ads, E-mail viruses, Backdoors, Spyware, Crackers, Adware and virtually every other Internet danger.
Easy to use, easy to tweak and every test tells you the computer is stealthed. It does what a firewall should do.

Though Outpost has potential, the current version of Outpost is not without bugs especially if you are using Windows XP. The developers are taking a Duke Nukem approach to upgrades in that "New versions will be released when they're done." Unfortunately their upgrade policy only allows you updates for a year which is crazy when you realize that they have not released an update for over 6 months now. In all, it's an outstanding firewall.
