Home Based Business Opportunity Seeker, Develops Business Opportunity Review Site

Affiliate marketing programs, network marketing such as emerald passport, eventis, and coastal vacations, make money on ebay programs, forex trading- a dizzying amount of choices can be overwhelming for the home based business opportunity seeker.  What works, and what doesn't?  What’s legitimate and what’s just hyped-up fluff? A few years ago, I began my pursuit for financial independence.  After getting laid off from my third “secure job”, I knew that job security was a thing of the past.  I wanted to be my own boss and work from home.  I bought a magazine which I believe was called, "Home Based Business Opportunities".  I figured I'd find something, and within a year, be making the big bucks.  Unfortunately, I lost more money than I care to talk about, ran my credit into the ground and ultimately filed bankruptcy!  I got burned, scammed, deceived, and whatever else you want to throw in the mix.  For fear of a libel suit, I don't want to mention the programs that "took" me, as this isn't about me, this about the home based business opportunity review site.  The review site is based upon a simple premise:  While some are good, most are bad.

I discovered that most of these home business opportunities were more interested in taking my money, rather than making me money.  Separating the good programs from the bad ones is a very tricky business, and for me, a full time job.  They are cleverly disguised like beautiful mansions on the outside,  but are actually more like movie sets, with nothing behind the exterior.

Hence, the development of a home based business review site.   I wanted to create something along the lines of a “consumer reports” for home based business opportunities.  In my own pursuits for financial independence, I had become an expert at reviewing and testing different work from home ideas and had amassed a ton of experience being ripped off and could help people to learn from my mistakes.  The mission statement of my review site:  To help others successfully navigate through the work from home business mine-fields, and help locate the one or two diamonds in the rough out there.   I realized that by helping people become successful, I become successful.

The recommendations I offer on my site our what I feel to be the best programs out there.  Does that mean everything I recommend is going to be right for everyone?  Of course not!  All I can do is help people make a more informed decision.   Before joining any work from home program, people have to do their homework, weigh the upside potential versus the downside risk, and then make a decision and take action!  There is no, ONE right home based business for everyone.  Am I biased?   Well let me put it this way-  Is it possible not to be biased to some extent?   As human beings, we will always have some subjectivity- we are not computers.    I like making money as much as the next guy,  so if I’m reviewing a home based business that looks good,  and it passes my scrutiny,  then I’ll join.  Call it a fringe benefit of the job.  One thing's for certain, people don’t get anywhere worthwhile in life by playing it safe as spectators.  Ultimately, despite the risks, they have to get in there and play the game or nothing ever changes.  Hopefully my site will help those that are serious about becoming successful home based business owners, play the game more safely.  Benefit from my mistakes and you'll be ahead of the game.
