Universal Guardian's Receives New Contract Raising the Total of 2006 Contract Awards to Over $19 Mil

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., March 21 -- Universal Guardian Holdings, Inc. (OTC: UGHO) (BULLETIN BOARD: UGHO) , a full service provider of non-lethal protection products, global supply chain logistics systems and security services to protect against terrorist, criminal and security threats to governments and businesses worldwide, today announced that its Services Group subsidiary, Secure Risks - Strategic Security Solutions (SR-SSSI), has been awarded a new contract from PAE-HSC Joint Venture to provide security support services to the Justice Sector Support Program for Afghanistan under PAE-HSC's prime contract with the United States Department of State.

Universal's SR-SSSI shall deploy mobile security teams in remote regions of Afghanistan to provide protection and defend against hostilities directed at personnel traveling throughout destinations in these regions. The subcontract shall be for an initial term of eleven months and thirty days. Given the ever increasing demand for tactical and physical security services in Afghanistan, PAE-HSC may exercise an option to extend the subcontract provided the Department of State extends the term of its task order with PAE-HSC.

We now hold executed contracts in excess of $19.25 Million USD in value for FY 2006, along with options to extend existing contracts which, if exercised, are anticipated to have a projected value of $60 Million USD over the course of the next three years," continued Mr. Braes.
