Global Harmony Institute and Walker Systems Support both of Farmington, Connecticut, will once again team up to sponsor a computer contribution drive. The event will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2006 from 10:00 am to 4:00pm. Collection will be at 10 Executive Drive in Farmington Connecticut, just off of Route 6.
The purpose of the drive is to collect used computer equipment that can be refurbished and donated to a nonprofit, student/school or a family in need. Any Windows compatible computer equipment is accepted, hard drives are wiped clean prior to the start of the refurbishing process. Individuals and businesses with 5 or more items are asked to contact us at (860) 674 9023, or email CPuzio@GlobalHarmonyInstitute.org to determine the appropriate steps.
A donation of $10 per component (CPU, Laptop, Monitor, Printer) is required to help offset the cost of purchasing software, distribution, and recycling fees.
