System Tracker 2.0 is totally free software which allows the layperson the ability to audit the programs running on their computer. This can be done viewing what needs to be running and what is merely eating up valuable resources and by disabling those annoying programs which are freezing up the computer with easy right-click control.
System Tracker 2.0 is a quick and easy download. Launching the desktop link will prompt a list of all processes running. Processes using up memory will be shown in the CPU usage column under the Processes tab. Unnecessary processes can be killed by highlighting them from the list and click the X to kill.
Detect the invisible applications running in the background such as adware, spyware, trojan and malware which start automatically and run in the background without permission and eat up valuable computer resources like RAM and CPU. Stop the running programs with a right-click on the program name and then the "Kill" tab. Add or remove startup programs with "Startup Manager" under the "Tools" menu option and by unchecking the item.
Ever had spyware pop back up after you remove it with your spyware removal tool? Have System Tracker shut it down for good even if you reacquire it with the handy “Nostart” tab. To permanently remove the item highlight it and click the minus button. To add a program to start automatically during Windows startup, click the plus button, specify a program in the "Command Line" field, enter a name in the "Name" field and click the "Add" button.
