Settings
Correct settings are very important for
any application to run in its entirety and well. The Settings section
allows you to monitor and control your settings.
General Settings
These settings remain applicable
to the whole application.
Start SpeedUpMyPC when Windows Start -
If you check the
checkbox, it adds the program to your Startup list. It will be started
automatically on System Boot Up. This is the default setting. Use System Tray Icon when the
application is minimized- This
enables the program to show in the system tray (Notification Area).
Clean Up
Move Deleted Files to Recycle Bin - Any files deleted via this software
are sent to the Recycle Bin from where you can restore them, if required. Delete File(s) Securely - Any deleted files are removed
permanently from the system.
As shown in the above screenshot, you
can select drives from the drop-down menu for cleaning up, but drive C:
is the default.
Clicking on the Apply
button makes your changes current. The Default
button returns you to the default settings.
