Clean Up
The Clean Up module takes care of temporary
files, junk files, downloaded files or various unclassified files, such
as Cookies. Browsing the web may create some problems in the form of unnecessary
files, an overlong Internet history list etc. Some working files, if retained
after they are no longer needed, also add to the problems. This adds up
to a long list of files, which clutter and slow down your system if not
properly managed or cleaned out regularly.

Identifies and lets you remove Junk and
Temporary Files
You may have many files, which were created
for one job or another in various folders, but which have become redundant
and are no longer needed. Windows operating systems also create many files
for its own functions. These files take up a considerable amount of disk
space. Eventually they will have to be cleaned up for the proper functioning
of your computer system. Most files are created for temporary use only,
and should also be removed.
You can choose to remove all of them at
once or to clean them selectively, by category.
Privacy Clean-Up
Unwanted, but private information.
There are several types of files on your
system, some of which may no longer be important to you. For example files
which you downloaded for temporary use or others that may have been created
on your system without your knowledge. Frequent Internet browsing generates
a long internet history list. You might have downloaded cookies without
your knowledge while browsing. Several URL will form as your visited site
history. Keeping the list of unnecessary files short will help optimize
your system’s performance for faster results.
File Shredder
Permanent File Cleaner
This is a very useful option. When you
delete important, but private data, you only delete the visible reference
to it. Files can remain on your system and are vulnerable for other users
of your PC, or external hackers, to retrieve. File Shredder ensures that
whatever you wish to remain private will be put beyond recovery. It also
means that you will also be unable to recover them, so please be careful.
Uninstall Manager
Safe Cleaner
To remove any software, you normally go
to Control Panel -> Add / Remove Programs and go through the uninstall
wizard. The existing system does not always remove all remnants of these
programs, but leaves fragments behind. These can cause problems of system
slowdown, freeze and, in extreme cases even a crash.
This
module lets you uninstall the software easily and completely by removing
it from the system as well as from the Add/Remove Programs of Control
Panel. It also displays a list of software installed on the system.
