Registry Restores

At any point you may restore a Registry configuration to an earlier saved and backed up version.

Click on the Restore Tab on the Navigation Panel to reveal a list of backup files.

Two buttons may be found on the bottom right hand side of the screen. These either Delete the Registry Backup File or Restore a highlighted Registry Backup file.

To restore a Registry Backup file, click on the desired file within the backup file list and then click on the Restore Button.

Registry Booster requests a confirmation to restore the backed up registry file.

Click on the "Yes" button to restore the previous configuration or "No" to cancel the Restore.

Restoring an old configuration will restore all errors within that configuration.

If you have affected changes in your registry after the file was backed up, the restore function may undo these changes.

Close all applications before restoring the backup files to ensure that all elements are restored.

Registry Booster confirms your restore as follows:

There is a limit (maximum 5 files) to how many backed up registry files you can maintain.  Be sure to clean out the older versions by highlighting the file you need to delete and clicking on the Delete Button:
