CleverCrypt is a free program that allows you to save your confidential files in a password protected encrypted hard drive. Whenever you save files into your CleverCrypt drive they are automatically encrypted. You can "drag and drop" all of your files and folders into CleverCrypt for instant password protection.
How does CleverCrypt work?
CleverCrypt uses a process called 'encryption' to password protect your files and folders based on a secret password you provide. After protection, the only way to access these files is to provide correct the password. If an attacker uses an incorrect password, the data remains encrypted until the correct password is supplied.

What kinds of files can CleverCrypt encrypt?
CleverCrypt can encrypt any type of file. There are absolutely no limitations on file types. This means you can encrypt your Word Documents, Excel Spreadsheets, Access Databases, Outlook Email, Internet Explorer History and Firefox History or pictures (JPEG, BMP, GIF etc). You can even encrypt entire folders just by dragging and dropping them into your CleverCrypt encrypted drives.
